What we did

We have developed the whole software product from scratch, prototype to production.
Starting with a standalone React web app, a REST api exposing a GraphQl endpoint, a keystonejs CMS integration for easy data management and Mongodb as Data layer.

The app was deployed to Digital Ocean.

Challenges

Given that we wanted to build a working proof of concept and get it up quickly we were uncertain about wether building someting completely custom was the best solution or choosing some existing CMS system is preferable.
Since this was a company project, we choose the custom way eventually, gathered a hackathon team and built the project in one day, then spent several others refining it.
